Multi Factor Authentication

Automated Multi Factor Authentication

Fraudsters steal billions a year by hijacking authenticated sessions after the user has already signed in. Spriv's automated MFA verifies transactions on an out-of-band channel silently, and every time.

What automated MFA actually does

How it works

Spriv automatically authenticates the user when they are near their authorized computer and, equally important, informs your security platform if the user leaves the authorized computer. No other Adaptive MFA platform does that.

Protection against session hijacks & malicious code

Malicious code running on the user's computer can hijack an authenticated session without detection by the app or the user. Fraudulent transfers to mule accounts start once the session is jeopardized. The only way to protect against these attacks is to authenticate the transaction on a secondary, out-of-band channel which Spriv does automatically with no user intervention.

Out-of-band, by design. The verification channel is physically separate from the login channel. Session hijacks that would pass a legacy MFA are stopped at the second channel.
Integration & applications

Spriv's automated MFA cloud integrates with any device that has an internet connection. Because Spriv authenticates in the background, the option now exists to enable MFA for every login not only high-risk transactions but medium- and low-risk ones too.

Spriv can also authenticate high-risk transactions or events: remote login, password resets, money transfers, account changes and more.
